They were friendly, responsive, and treated me wonderfully!! I was there multiple times for work and had to extend my stay several times during the weeks I was there.
When I called they knew me by name and did what they could to make things easy for me. I truly appreciated them!! Asked for towels dont have any. Water didnt get hot. I would never stay here again. I noticed in the morning when I saw them on the pillow and the bed. I did not think I was bitten until a few hours after I left the hotel. I told the front desk when I was checking out and she told maintenance. Nothing else was done. I showed pictures to the front desk woman.
Pros : My wife and I got quick confirmation and went right in at midnight. Once in, we only needed to be there 5 hours so due to the time, it wasn't worth calling for amenities that should have been there. Cons : We got a room that once we opened the door a roach ran across the bed. To make matters worse, When I showered, there were no towels and only a used bar of soap. I had to leave for a 6am flight, so it wasn't worth the effort to call the front desk. I just wanted to get out of there.
Pros : Value. Good location. Breakfast decent. Cons : Room mediocre. Needs updating badly. A lot of noise and people just hanging out. Electronic lock didn't work. Was near the ice maker which ran all night and very noisy people coming and going. Not enough outlets to plug in electronics.

Cons : -Two rude staff members at least one of them did apologize for their rudeness -Had to wait almost an hour for my room when it shouldve been ready two hours before hand -Rooms were okay, not spectacular only one small trash can -Phone did not work -Water did not work -Not safe area for kids -Would never visit again and wouldn't recommend.

Cons : The lobby was dated and dirty, and had a few people sitting around who looked like vagabonds. The room was dated, unclean, and in disrepair. Pros : Nothing I left because of the roach problem. Cons : The condition of the rooms is old and deteriorated which is okay for the price but around 11PM large roaches started to come out, from the bathroom and the huge gap under the front door..
I packed my car and went to the front desk and they acknowleged the roaches but wouldnt refund my money. Pros : Convenient to other things, like the big Flea Market, restaurants. Even had a cafe and bar on premises. Rated 7. Scottish Inn Jacksonville Downtown.

The "mattress" is just a large block of foam precariously placed on top of plastic pipes. Every time I tried to get out of bed, the whole set up would tip over.
Pillows were flat dollar store quality. Trash bin still had previous tenants trash in it.
