The upper management levels of this place are just awful, they micromanage and ignore their own jobs and complicate tasks by changing plans last minute or deciding some way they want is better than a prescribed method. The mid-level management is mostly trash too, in all honesty most people working here especially in the office positions are much more concerned with petty office politics than doing the job they were hired to do. The safety there is atrocious, they got a guy, but he only does his job when it suits him the rest of the time he tries to pretend it's his little kingdom that he rules because he is oh so much smarter than everyone there, and while that may be; simply because the highest levels of intelligence leave asap he's not smart he just bulldogs everyone into doing what he wants because nobody has a spine there and everyone is just so concerned they'll get found out for whatever corrupt, racist, illegal, or sub-par behavior they have been participating in that they just let him run the show so they can go on getting paid for nothing until they don't need it anymore.
I may sound disgruntled, I realize I do. But I wish them all the best honestly, I met the only one person in southeast Houston that I like while working there, and I have no idea how he has lasted near 20 years. It was very easy to succeed and set myself apart from everyone else there instantly but it is not a place to call your home.
Big company and not much room for improvement but has great benefits with a high turnover rate due to horrible training. Pros good benefits. Cons management needs improvement.
